As part of preliminary Stage 2 course works, on Tuesday afternoon the 16^th July the lower golf hole fairways, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be sprayed to eliminate weed and unwanted grasses prior to resurface and reconstruction. This is expected to commence from 1.30pm and every care will be taken not to interfere with those golfers who have booked starting times at 12.16pm (18 holes) and any who have booked to play 9 holes in the early afternoon. 

From the 15^th July for a one week period, protection barriers will be erected around a number of trees which will not be removed in the Stage 2 works. City of Greater Geelong officers will be on site on Monday 29^th July to inspect this work to ensure it complies with approvals given for the Course Construction Master Plan.
