17/07 WOMEN’S CAPTAINS REPORT
Thank you Jill for taking over while I had a short break in the northern sun.
I would like to remind all the women that we have not had anyone interested in becoming the new Vice Captain next year with the intention to become the Captain for 2019-2020. If we are unable to fill this position it would fall to the Club Captain to organise our golf it would be the end of our Women’s Committee as it now stands. If there is anyone that is interested please see me or one of the committee.
Congratulations to our quarterly medal winner Lyn Reynolds, well done.
The Iris and Charlie entries were disappointing but I know many go away.
We are nearly up to the finals with the last qualifier’s playing their game on Saturday 6th of August. The final is on the 13th, come along and support the players.
I hope the weather gets warmer soon.
