The Classic was again run over 4 days so that we could accommodate players on our recently opened new 9 holes.

We had good weather for the first 3 days but the afternoon field on Friday was battered by strong winds and then driving rain. With some reporting that balls were being blown off the greens when the wind gusted, most players opted for the comfort of the clubhouse and did not complete their second round.

The rain was very welcome but in a perfect world would have arrived a few hours later.

We had 182 players contest the Classic this year with 81 visitors from 30 different clubs. There were many compliments about the course with everyone looking forward to playing the completed 18 holes in 2021.

We really appreciate the support from all players, both visitors and members, and we look forward to a bigger and better event in 2021.
