2019 Men’s Club Championships

The Championships have been run and won for 2019 with many worthy winners, some winning multiple events.
The main event, however, is for the A Grade and Club Champion. And what a wonderful contest it was. Ben Martin, the 2018 winner, starting 3 strokes behind Derek Edwards was not going to give up the title easily. Ben raced to 5 under the card after 10 holes, but Derek matched that, and then birdied the 11th to go to 6 under. A few stumbles on the way in but both carded fine rounds of 69, which left Derek ahead by 3 and the 2019 Lonsdale Club Champion.
Congratulations to Derek and also to Ben for a fine contest.
