VIC Open Volunteers

The media production team for the Vic Open are looking for volunteers to assist their camera team.
- Role 1 – Broadcast Drivers x 7
- Ideally know the course, enough not to drive over a green or in to a bunker. Will need to be reasonably fit and active
- Role 2 – Pole Holders x 7
- Young, fit, possibly Uni student studying media. Secondary students would be fine but I am conscious that school is back.
Each Golf cart has a driver, cameraman and a pole holder that work together as a team. The cameras are portable and sending images via the digital pole so the pole holder needs to stick with the cameraman like glue. The driver needs to get them to the action quickly and get out of the camera shot ASAP.
On Thursday and Friday the guys will probably be on the go from 9.00am until 5-6pm. Saturday and Sunday are seeded draws so the start times would be later.
The entire production team are meeting at 11am on Wednesday 6 of February to allocate teams, conduct some training, uniforms etc so it would be beneficial to have them attend that training.
Whilst this is a volunteer role each team member will be acknowledged on the broadcast credits.
