17/10 WOMENS CAPTAINS REPORT
Well done we all got through our busy October, next month will be just as busy as Christmas approaches.
Firstly I must apologise to Judy Thomas, Heather McFarlane, Lauris Wilson and Marg Burgin I got my Fridays mixed up from all reports it was a most enjoyable day. Thank you Eva your work for the OBE day is very much appreciated.
The photos from the Women’s trip away showed everyone had a good time. Thanks to Marg Martin, Heather Peters and Rachael Kelcey.
Thank you to all the women who gave such great support to our Amenities day you are fabulous, the pennant team will look great in their new shirts.
Congratulations to our quarterly medal winner Club Captain Lorel Larcombe, surprisingly it was her first one. Final for medallist of the year will be between Val Avent, Mary-Anne Clare, Lynette Reynolds and Lorel Larcombe. Good Luck to you all.
Congratulations to Jude Michell who is our inaugural winner of the RT Edgar Veterans Cup.
The first rounds of the Women’s Foursomes have been played good luck to all that are participating.
Helen has given a list of our important dates in her report so we would like to see as many as possible taking part in these special days.
With the warmer weather it’s great to see our numbers improving on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
