On Friday 22nd of September, Heather Perkins competed in the Joan Fisher Plate at Metropolitan Golf Club. The event was run by Golf Victoria.

Club champion women from all over Victoria were competing in the Champion of Champions tournament. Heather played fine golf but a couple of glitches put her out of contention for the final 36 holes, finishing in the afternoon. Heather played with women from Lakes Entrance, Warrnambool and Metropolitan.

It was a glorious day and a fabulous course with magnificent trees and lots of bird life.

It was an honor for Lonsdale to have our own women’s club Champion playing in this prestigious event.
