WOMEN’S PRESIDENT REPORT JULY 2017
After five weeks away it was encouraging to see the progress that has been made while away, especially the XGolf facility, membership still growing and especially the junior program. We are very lucky to have life members, Leo and Lorel, prepared to give their time so generously to the progress of this club. Also the members volunteering to help Leo; great to see them working together on this project.
Heather Perkins has been adding to her achievements this year winning the Captain’s Shield; she is having a great year.
Welcome to our newest lady member, Anne Lee, also to all the new male members. We hope you enjoy your golf at LGC.
Women’s Charity Day 15th August in support of Gateways Support Services (Carers of children with autism spectrum disorder Geelong/Bellarine). We thank Lorel, Sally Collier, Jo Barker and Hermit Crab Homewares for sponsoring this event. Entry forms available from the clubhouse or online. Submit entry form with payment to the office. For those not able to play but wishing to join us for lunch there will be a list up in the ladies locker room. Please support this event.
There will be a trade table on the day so donations of plants, preserves etc would be appreciated and home cooking is always appreciated. Leave items in ladies locker room.
