The second round of pennant was played at home against Torquay in near perfect conditions. After all receiving shots in the first round, three of the boys had to give shots this week.

Andrew, Luke and Ben were up in their matches very early and played very consistent golf to all finish on or before the 15th hole.

Jordan and Rex had matches that went all the way to the 18th.

Rex was in a see sawing battle against the Torquay number one with the 17th hole being the first halved hole (with birdies of course). He halved the final hole to finish square.

Jordan also had a great battle and after being down early in the match came home strong to win on the 18th.

Well done to the team on their second win. Also thanks to the caddies for their assistance and the Lonsdale chef for the great after golf snacks. 

Additional thanks to John and Marg Whitmore who came out to watch and support the boys. Our next match on 28th of January will be played at East Geelong starting at 08.30.
