COVID-19 Update for Lonsdale Golf Club

Posted on: 12 March

Dear Members,

The health and wellbeing of our Members, guests and staff is of paramount importance. The management staff at the Club continue to monitor advice issued by the Australian Government and as such I would like to provide you with an update on the actions taken by us as a result of this advice.

The Club operations are running as per normal. We have reminded and advised all our staff, both operational and management, as to their responsibilities around personal hygiene, including hand washing/sanitation and the regular cleaning of common areas. Regular sanitation is one of the best methods of control that we have at our disposal – please refer to the DHHS’s 10 ways to reduce your risk of Coronavirus for further details.

Hand sanitation units have been ordered for the clubhouse lounge and will be installed as soon as they arrive.

If you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, please report to your Medical Professional. Please also avoid visiting the Club if you are experiencing these symptoms. Members and guests who have recently been overseas should also consider avoiding visiting the Club for 14 days as a precaution.

The management team will continue to assess the advice that is published by the Australian Government and will update Members accordingly. This issue is developing every day. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards,

Josh Hall
General Manager
