Junior Pennant Report Round 4
CONGRATULATIONS WESTERVELD WINNERS

Congratulations to our Junior team winning the Westerveld Shield and finishing on top of Junior Pennant for 2018.

The team is now to play Barwon Valley, (winners of the Trevenen Shield), in the Ford Cup on Sunday 18 Feb at 8.30 at Lonsdale. Supporters welcome.
The team again played very well with close matches in all but one where Luke played extremely well to win his match 7/5.
Jordan was close all day but managed to win the last 2 holes to finish 2 up.
Ben after being well down, 6 down after 10 holes, fought back bravely to go on to the 18th, finally losing 2 down. Well done Ben on a great fight back. In match play you never give up as the match can turn very quickly. Credit to you on a great effort.
Andrew’s match was up and down but by hanging in there he came out on top winning 2/1. Well done Andrew.
Rex had a tough match as his opponent played off a 6 handicap and Rex had to play very well to win 3/2. Good work Rex.
The Club is very proud of the time and work all these boys have put in during the year. It has been amazing to see the improvement in their skills and fantastic to think that they could win their pennant section in their first year.
Congratulations must also go to the parents and caddies for their encouragement and mentoring.
The team has been a credit to LONSDALE GOLF CLUB.
