17/11 WOMEN’S CAPTAINS REPORT
We have all survived the busy end of our season with the last few gold letter and major events finalised.
The medalist of the year was the most consistent Lynette Reynolds well done.
The winners of the well fought Lonsdale Women’s Foursomes were Lynne Toleman and Marg Whitmore winning in the 18th from Tayna McGann and Alanna Mills.
The Saturday shield was won by one of our newer members Kate Whitford.
To Judy Collins and her helpers who run the Thursday Chook runs thank you for a job well done and for a very successful Christmas break up day.
To all the women in the club that have supported me over the year I thank you all, it is you that make this club so special.
To the women who knitted our snowmen for the table decorations for our Christmas Break thank you it was great job and made the luncheon special.
To Helen, Jeanne and Jill who are leaving the committee this year I am very grateful for all that you have done for me and women’s golf over your time .
Welcome to our new committee members Cheryl Holdsworth as Vice President, Heather Peters as Secretary and Sally Kennedy as Vice Captain.
Over the next few years there will be challenges but with the support shown to me and the women’s committee we will see it through.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas Happy and Healthy New Year.
