Women’s Captain Report – May

Pennant season is over ending a successful Age of Aquarius night. I’m sure all that attended had a good night. Special thanks go to Cherryl Selkirk my musical director and Marg McLean for the choreography, also the women who helped with the set up it all looked great.
My thanks go out to the Captains and the pennant players who represent our club so well over the season.
The women have done it at last winning the Chooks v the Roosters event. Well done to Judy Collins and all her hens for making the day a success.
The Lonsdale Challenge Bowl had 18 teams competing the course was great and the weather was also fine. Clifton Springs has taken the bowl this year. Thanks to Jessica Scarff for the flower arrangements the autumn theme looked great. Alan Fry’s place mats were a great success, with some clubs taking them away for samples. Thanks Alan.
